wishing you that the beautiful deeds of nabi touch your life =)

Allahumma solli ‘ala saidina Muhammad..

memang nabi tak ajar kita celebrate birthday baginda…

memang nabi tak suruh kita berarak sambil pegang sepanduk pakai baju seragam satu kumpulan..

dakwah kena various… kadang kadang kalau bukan sebab hari maulud ni, kita pun tak perasan betapa lamanya kita tak amalkan selawat ke atas nabi kan?

ok enough of blabbering… saya nak promote peplum yang baru distok ni =)

memorable moments at holy lands (seronok + sayu) II

mari kita sambung cerita makkah lagi nak?

this time, i want to share about maqam Ibrahim..

this is it.. the one in that small building..

basically it is slightly in front of the door of kaabah..

at times, i was startled at the reaction of some jamaah when they got to touch and hold the tomb (since this was my first time seeing it, of course).. they cried, they mourned, they weeped, they howled… yes, sometimes it was too much..

it was something like they were visiting grave.. but i know maqam Ibrahim is not so-called maqam as grave..it means the standing spot ( قام – مقام – stand) of nabi Ibrahim a.s.

so i tried to look into it myself..to ensure what i know is right.. and i found the holy stone from jannah (called maqam)

uwa.. subhanallah..the feeling is sooo amazing.. you know, we are looking at a stone from jannah~!!

i’m telling you, something from JANNAH! =)

ok, thinking back about those people who kept crying, howling and mourning.. i, again, was confused..

so they were looking at the stone, and, why mourning? why not praising Allah, or getting amazed, or what so ever that shows a blissful expression?

i started finding the story behind the stone..

i heard that those who did that are believing in bidaah, memegang maqam sambil berdoa dan meratap semua tu dikatakan akan dikabulkan permintaan.. something like that.. so that’s why they hugged the tomb like they did not want to release it!

so actually the story is about that is the stone where Jibril sent from Jannah for Nabi Ibrahim to stand on it and complete the process of building kaabah..

the width is 40cm x 40 cm approximately.. the height is 50 cm approximately..

when nabi stood on it, the feet sink with the depth of 10 cm, the length 22 cm and the width 11 cm.. besar juga kan tapak kaki nya?

after completing the construction of kaabah, again, Nabi stood on it and engaged people to do hajj, as Allah ordered ..

so here is the function of a stone from jannah, as important as hajarul aswad, which are said as the only two stones from jannah on this earth..

it is said that the maqam was never moved since Nabi Ibrahim’s era, but when a big flood occurred in 17 Hijrah, it flowed to Misfalah (quite a distance from Kaabah).. Saidina Umar al Khattab put it back at the original place  after confirming with other people about the original location.

the real stone is inside that cooper case.. the top is the cooper which was made because they worried the stone might crack after times..

Allah has said in alquran:

“Dan jadikanlah sebagian maqam ibrahim tempat solat” – Albaqarah:125

Rasulullah said:

so that’s it.. alhamdulillah I was granted to look into it (which was a rare chance because of the crowd), doa beside it for quite a long time, and pray in front of it (quite a distance juga, bukan solat depan depan..mau kena pukul dengan polis kalau buat tu)..

it is a very blissful moment when i got to get close to the tomb.. i was doing tawaf with my sister in law, akma..only two of us..then i did not realize that we were getting close to the tomb…since usually the area was very crowded, so i just looked at the floor to make sure i did not stumble, and i didn’t cause anyone to stumble.. when i looked ahead, whoaaa… the tomb was in front of my eyes..~

i was so excited that i dragged akma to touch it (she was busy escaping herself from the crowd).. when looking into it, touching the golden glass, and doa, the crowd was like..gone.. only two of us, and another two or three persons around it, just like us.. i did not know why the people seemed vanished, but i didn’t have time to think about it. i was busy praying *tak sempat pun bukak buku baca doa yang specific sewaktu berdiri di sebelah makam* since i usually saw some people were urged to leave maqam when they were too long holding it..

i didn’t want to be dragged away before finishing my doa.. i prayed and prayed till i satisfied with the superb moment, then i went away with a blessed feeling.. insyaAllah amin.. the movement were limited however, we were still in our tawaf, so the shoulder should not turn away from kaabah.. luckily we got the side of tomb which let us to maintain our shoulder position.. alhamdulillah, we didn’t get scolded by the police.. =)

maqam ibrahim is also a hot spot, beside hajarul aswad, rukun yamani and hijr ismail.. like i said in previous entry, the second week we were there, all these spots are black area, kalau malas nak sesak dan berhimpit, jangan la kejar ke sana..

memorable moments at holy lands (seronok + sayu)

alhamdulillah. we touched down safe and sound at KLIA at wednesday noon last week.

Madinah and Makkah are so great and awesome.

splendid experience we have back there.

and we really aim we can be among the frequent visitors there.. amin..

may be for the next time, we can bring wafiy sidq together..

poor him to be left out from a great vacation..

this was our first time, indeed, it was very memorable..

we have one tip to be shared with others who are planning to go there, regardless it’s your first time or whatsoever time..

read the story, sirah and chronology about both holy masjids there..

you will surprise with the penghayatan you will get after knowing all the stories..

you will start staring at the buildings, memorizing back all the events happened inside, in front, beside, behind it..

you will start staring at the tombs, at the walls, at the roofs, at the street, at the hills…

and you will stare with those happy, sorrow, and indescribable feelings..

you will just think like.. what if i was there with rasulullah, with the sahabiah, with those tabiin… how lucky was I to be there..

oh..the feeling is so great =)

we bought these two books about masjid nabawi and masjidil haram there.. so i can say that it was a bit late to khatam the book there…i mean i got that penghayatan late~ i should read it one day or two days before leaving malaysia..

it is done anyway.. we are here, and we will be there again when Allah grant us to be there.. insya Allah..

I want to share some pictures and some stories with you..

ni tengah tak ramai orang i can say..

start hari keempat, ramaiiiii sangat.. berebut nak tawaf.. uuchh..

memang sakit sakit la badan kalau lepas tawaf tu, kena tolak kena senggong kena himpit.. haha

see the multazam? tempat antara pintu kaabah dan bucu hajarul aswad.. tempat mustajab doa..

kiranya kosong lagi tu.. i managed to get there during my second day there (hari tak berapa ramai orang)..

hajarul aswad memang tak dapat pergi, tak dapat tengok pun..tak kisah la pergi bila bila masa pun..ouch,

di multazam dan pintu kaabah, boleh berlama lama juga di sana,  sebab time tu agak kosong.. kami (read: bro nas & i) pun tak de la bermatlamat untuk memegang pintu kaabah time tu, cuma tengah tengah tawaf tu tengok tengok kosong pintu tu! eh?? kosong??? biar benar???? selama lama ni yang penuh sampai bersangkut sangkut tu pergi mana?

excited with the opportunity, i dragged bro nas to go there.. started with multazam, pintu kaabah, sepanjang dinding di side itu kami sentuh sambil bertawaf sambil berdoa… perasaan tak usah cakap lah..it was my first time touching kaabah, and yet, i started with multazam~! alhamdulillah.. it is a miracle since we could do that without pushing, pulling and struggling..nobody blocked us.. a blessing feeling!

then, bau atar pada tangan, tak usah cakap la..melekat! kaabah memang wangi~

tamak dengan perasaan bahagia itu, saya ajak bro nas ke hijr ismail pula.. mana tau Allah izinkan pula kami masuk tanpa merempuh (merempuh tuuu~) tapi bila pergi, memang penuh..memang sangat penuhh.. bro nas kata, “tak pe la, lama lagi kita kat sini.. ada banyak peluang lagi”.. so that’s it.. kami sambung menghabiskan tawaf dengan bahagia.. (cumanya, memang sampai sudah saya tak berpeluang ke hijr ismail..hanya bro nas mampu -_- sob sob..dia pergi tanpa saya~)

cerita about tangan yang bersangkut…

don’t get what i mean? kejap tunjuk gambar lain..

nampak tak tangan bersangkut sangkut kat pintu kaabah tu?

pendek kata suasana di depan pintu kaabah biasanya agak bingit dan sesak.. most of the times..

*dikatakan time umrah lain memang senang nak tengok, time kami ni kebetulan peak season, orang ramai macam nak awal haji dah*

inilah coretan pertama saya mengenai kembara tanah suci kami..

moga ketemu lagi di lain waktu untuk kisah maqam ibrahim, hijr ismail dan lain lain pula (haha.kenapa dah macam pengacara rancangan tv ni?)

Ahlan wasahlan ya ramadhan

Wafiy and parents wish you happy fasting with the doa, may we get the best of ramadan..

sangat elok menggandakan amalan, tapi Jangan hipokrit kerana ramadan..

Thousands apologizes from us..let us make the most out of it.
*jangan telepek tidur je macam awang tiger ni*

haa..kan dah tercungap cungap nanti kita…tu oksigen, kalau Allah tarik nikmat hidung sebab tak solat? banyak la orang yang pesek je tengah muka dia sebab tak solat solat..

panjangkan lah tahajud..

salam wth

scars of love ^^

Some years ago on a hot summer day in south Florida a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house.

In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went. He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.

His mother, in the house, was looking out the window and saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could. Hearing her voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his mother.

It was too late. Just as he reached her, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the mother grabbed her little boy by the arms just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began an incredible tug-of-war between the two.

The alligator was much stronger than the mother, but the mother was much too passionate to let go.

A farmer happened to drive by, heard her screams, raced from his truck, took aim and shot the alligator. Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived.

His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal. And, on his arms, were deep scratches where his mother’s fingernails dug into his flesh in her effort to hang on to the son she loved.

The newspaper reporter who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked if he would show him his scars. The boy lifted his pant legs; and then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, “But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my mom wouldn’t let go.”

You and I can identify with that little boy. We have scars, too.

No, not from an alligator, or anything quite so dramatic. But, the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go.

In the midst of your struggle, He’s been there holding on to you.

This teaches us that God loves us. But sometimes we foolishly wade into dangerous situations. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril -and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That’s when the tug-o-war begins – and if you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He did not – and will not – let you go.
